Videfly: Building an AI-Powered Digital Marketing Ecosystem for Video Creation

Digital marketing remains a high-demand sector for businesses looking to run campaigns and promotions. But despite the many digital marketing agencies out there, few are offering targeted services for users who want a fast, simple way to create video content for their online stores.

Understanding the pain point, Videfly was launched to offer AI-based tools that simplify digital marketing. The platform claims it can automate video generation in minutes and is now building an ecosystem aimed at e-commerce sellers, freelancers, brands, and companies who want to streamline their video content workflow.

A Founder’s Journey From Agency to AI

Videfly’s CEO Arsifa Deliyana, who goes by Deli, had been running a digital marketing agency before starting the company. Her background in visual communication design (DKV), and later retail and marketing, shaped her vision. After noticing how AI was transforming creative industries, she decided to integrate the technology into her work.

In 2024, she teamed up with Abram Ardhiya, now COO and Co-founder, and officially launched Videfly after participating in the Foundry program. After graduating from the program and finding a co-founder, they secured pre-seed funding from an angel investor.

Initially, Videfly functioned like a typical agency, but after advice from mentors and industry feedback, the team realized that scaling would require a different approach. They shifted to automating content creation, especially for marketplace sellers. With Videfly, users can connect their marketplace account and generate video content instantly, no manual editing required powered by AI technology.

“Most small businesses don’t have time or technical know-how to produce content at scale. We created Videfly to make that process easier and more accessible,” said Deli.

Automation as a Differentiator

What separates Videfly from traditional digital agencies is full automation. The platform doesn’t just support video production, it automates it end-to-end. For MSMEs unfamiliar with tech, Videfly partners with agencies to handle onboarding and education. Agencies that want to partner with Videfly can run pilot projects and offer the finished content to their own clients.

This cuts down the cost of customer training and helps the platform stay focused on product development. By creating a broader ecosystem, Videfly hopes to offer a faster alternative to tools like CapCut or Canva, especially for users who value both speed and simplicity.

“We noticed that even when small businesses are given tools, many of them still ask for hands-on help. That’s why we enable agencies to use our tools to serve their clients better,” said Deli.

Videfly currently has a team of 10, mostly engineers, and uses cloud services like AWS and Google. While the AI models come from third-party providers, the infrastructure, payment systems, marketplace integration, and APIs, is built in-house.

Monetization and Coin Strategy

One of Videfly’s most unique aspects is its coin-based monetization system. Users can earn or purchase coins, which are used to generate videos. There’s a basic option where users get five free coins, and they can top up, subscribe, or complete small tasks to earn more. Payments can be made using e-money or QRIS through the Xendit payment gateway.

“We wanted something that feels familiar to SMEs, coins are already common in e-commerce, so we designed our pricing around that model,” said Deli.

The platform is especially focused on freelancers and visual design students (DKV), who can upload content packages or use the tools to create content for MSMEs. Videfly is also working with education departments to onboard students and offer them monetization opportunities via the platform.

Currently in beta, Videfly has registered users and paying clients in Greater Jakarta, mainly millennials within the founders’ networks. Once the full version is released, the team plans to focus on awareness and position Videfly clearly as an AI company.

“We’re starting with e-commerce, but the potential is much bigger. Over time, we want to serve industries like finance and banking too,” said Abram.

Video Content Demand for Marketing

In today’s digital landscape, video has become one of the most powerful tools for brands and sellers to promote their products. Whether it’s for social media, marketplaces, or websites, video content consistently drives higher engagement and helps businesses stand out in crowded platforms. But for many small businesses, creating quality videos can be time-consuming and expensive.

This is where AI steps in. Tools like Videfly give users a way to produce simple, effective video content without needing a production team or editing skills. By making video creation fast and accessible, AI is helping level the playing field, giving smaller players the same creative edge as bigger brands.
